Caleb's wild marathon fundraising for Tusk.

It is going to be my greatest honour to run the wild marathon on behalf of Longleat, whilst raising money for Tusk, at the Lewa conservancy in Kenya. This year is even more special as it's the 25th anniversary of the Lewa marathon. 

I have always had a passion for wildlife and conservation. I've been lucky enough to be a carnivore keeper at Longleat for over 12 years. During this time, my passion and love for the animals has only grown stronger, with every lesson these amazing animals teach me. 

A love for the outdoors was instilled in me from a very early age, my family taught me to appreciate, value and respect nature. I very quickly fell in love with big cats, lions in particular. 

My love for lions has given me an understanding of their place in the ecosystem, how delicate this balance is, and that protecting lions requires the whole environment to be protected. Allowing lions to thrive and prosper can restore the balance of nature. 

Teaching people how to safely live alongside predators, and other wildlife is a cause I hold close to my heart, and one that Tusk helps support. 

Running the Lewa marathon is a challenge that I will give 100% to. Running in the footsteps of animals through the conservancy and raising money to help protect and conserve wildlife will be a dream come true.
