Lewa Safari Marathon
I was born in East Africa and have not returned since I was a toddler. I am passionate about helping raise funds for Tusk who are vested in protecting these endangered species. We also get to see "hands on" where all donations go within the Community !

I am taking part in the Lewa Safari Marathon on 29th June 2024 to help raise vital funds for Tusk. Participating on the 25th anniversary is extra special!
Tusk supports The Lewa Wildlife Conservancy which is a privately owned, not-for-profit wildlife conservation area in northern Kenya. Home to many threatened species including the black rhino, endangered Grevy’s zebra, and elephant, cheetah, lion and leopard, its activities focus on protection of species, support for community development, and environmental education in neighbouring areas. The community programme is based on in-depth consultations with the rural population to secure their participation in the scheme and guarantee that tangible benefits of wildlife conservation reach the local people.
Tusk works closely with Lewa’s community programmes and through the annual Lewa Safari Marathon has provided valuable funding to install sustainable water systems and to refurbish a number of schools for Lewa’s outlying communities.
